Women's Health Matters http://www.womenshealthmatters.ca/resources/ - Meta Strategies partnered with Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre as database developers for the WHM Resources Database. Meta Strategies designed this database as well as integrated thousands of records from other legacy databases to create this resource database which enables women to find useful and reliable health resources to support their health-care decision-making. Fully searchable in both English and French, users can search the database using a variety of criteria to retrieve results that contain standardized descriptions of reviewed resources. This database also includes a sophisticated editor administration interface that allows editors to create dynamic search categories, schedule records for archiving and create "featured searches" on a variety of hot health topics. 2001 to present.

Ontario Association of Youth Employment Centres (OAYEC) www.oayec.org
Meta Strategies worked with OAYEC to help develop their Internet strategy and raise funds to develop an interactive member driven website. Meta Strategies also provided website development to the project including an original design, interactive home page updating tool, custom online discussion tool, email bulletin tool, and a resources database set up with sharing among 12 content partners each with customized interfaces - 2000 to present.

Millennium Scholarship Foundation www.laureatespace.ca
This website and database development project Laureatespace is an online community for the national and provincial/territorial excellence award laureates of the Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation. Meta Strategies provided an original website design and included a resources database, customized online discussion tool, opportunities database and a dynamic events calendar application. The entire site was designed to be bilingual and database driven - 2002 to present.

This website is designed to serve women entrepreneurs across Canada. Meta Strategies provided original design and website development, custom resources database, online discussion tool, home page updating tool an interactive marketplace, shared events calendar (developed using the APC Action Apps) and members database. - 2000 to present.

Canada Blooms Corporate Site www.canadablooms.com
This site was designed for Canada Blooms, a gardening show, so that they could easily change their front or home page based on their annual updated look and feel - 1999 to present.

Canada Blooms Organizational Site www.canadablooms.org
This site features a host of interactive volunteer management tools and self publishing applications such as a resources database, speaker's bureau database and more - 1999 to present.

The Plexus Institute - Formerly EdgePlace - www.plexusinstitute.org
A US based institute exploring complexity science applications to promote community and organizational health. Coordinated all aspects of this project from initial design of the web site to project completion, managed a complete redesign of the web site and have been responsible for facilitating numerous online discussions. This site includes an events calendar, resources database and interactive home page updating tool - 1997-present.

YWCA Week without Violence www.weekwithoutviolence.ca
This site, now in its third original design contains an interactive database driven image discussion tool called PictureThis that was developed to allow staff to upload images and allow the public to add their comments. This tool is administered through a simple password protected control panel. It has also recently been equipped with the Meta Strategies custom online discussion tool - 1999 to present.

Walter Duncan Gordon Foundation www.gordonfn.ca
Working only with a small logo available only in print format, Meta Strategies designed this website and equipped it with a variety of self-publishing tools. The home page of this site features a dynamic front page whereby staff at this organization can change and feature website content through a password protected control panel, available from any Internet browser. The website also contains a customized grants management database, a Resource library and News publishing application - 2000 - 2001.

Appletree Landing Parent Resource Centre - www.up2us.ca
Family Literacy Project Assisting with the support and placement of computers into up to 50 families homes in rural Nova Scotia, web site development and training, process for involving families in planning and design. This website includes an events calendar, activities database, resource database and three home page updating tools for kids, parents and the community - 2001-2002.

Ontario Network of Employment Skills Training Network (ONESTEP) - www.onestep.on.ca
Project management, grant writing, hiring, technology review and tool selection, planning and launching online communities, and evaluation. Worked with the staff to design phase II of their online project including web site planning, budgeting, online tool design, and fundraising. Served as online database developers for the creation of a custom membership database, online discussion tool, and resources database - 1999-2002.
