Neptis Foundation
This website is entirely driven by database backed content management tools. The site design was based on a carefully created layout and existing print materials supplied by Foundation staff. The foundation has an interest in motivating specific constituency groups to learn about the issues facing urban regions and had developed a very detailed contact management system that includes a web based email communication tool that allows staff to select target groups within the database and send targeted email. It will include dynamical mapping when that phase of the project is complete.
Neptis is a small organization with a broad constituency base and big mandate. Their staff have assumed 100% of content management within the budgeted amount training and support. As a foundation Neptis has taught us to start with what is possible and then figure out how to fund it.
